Kegler

Effective October 19, 2026

Privacy Policy

Kegler collects nothing about you. Your games live on your devices and in your own iCloud, and the developer never sees them.

No account Nothing to sign up for.
No tracking No analytics, ads or trackers.
Your iCloud Synced in your private database.
No server Kegler has none of its own.

The details

Your games and stats

Everything you enter (games, nights, leagues, centers, balls and notes) is stored on your iPhone. When you're signed in to iCloud, a copy is kept in your private iCloud database so your games sync across your devices. Apple stores it under your Apple Account; neither the developer nor anyone else can read it.

Location

If you allow it, Kegler uses your location while the app is open to find bowling centers near you and pick the one you're at. Searches go to Apple Maps. Your location isn't saved; only the centers you add are kept with your games. Kegler works fine without it, and you can turn it off in iOS Settings.

Photos

When you save a night's picture, Kegler asks to add it to Photos. It can only add pictures, never see your library.

Purchases

The full version is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; Kegler only learns whether it went through, never your payment details.

Feedback email

If you write to us, we receive your email address and your message, including the app and iOS version the app adds to it. It's used only to answer you and improve Kegler, and is never shared or sold.

Importing and exporting

Files you import, and the CSV files you export, stay on your device or wherever you put them. Nothing is uploaded.

Third parties

Kegler includes no third-party code that collects data. The only outside services it uses are Apple's: iCloud, Apple Maps and the App Store, under Apple's Privacy Policy.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data is kept as long as you keep it. Delete any game or night in the app. Deleting Kegler removes its data from your iPhone; to remove the iCloud copy too, open iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Kegler.

We hold none of your data, so there's nothing for us to delete, but you're always welcome to ask.

Children and changes

Kegler isn't directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone. If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.

Who we are
